Frequently Asked Questions

What happens on the trial run?

I will work with you to create the perfect look to suit you and your hair and skin type. We can look at images of your hair and makeup ideas and try out different looks. I will take lots of photos of your chosen look and make notes of the products used.

We can also discuss and organise timings for the day and and hair and makeup requirements for bridesmaids and mums as required.

Is there a time limit for the trial and how long does it last?

Not at all, I will work with you until you are completely happy with your look and trials usually last up to 4 hours.

If you would like an extended trial I charge an additional £30 per hour after the first 4 hours.

Which products do you use?

I use a variety of different brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Giorgio Armani, Anastasia Beverley Hills, Stila, Too Faced, M.A.C, Benefit, Nars, Dior, Laura Mercier and Urban Decay - all tried, tested and trusted!

If I have lots of Bridesmaids will there be enough time to get everyone ready on the day?

I always make sure I arrive on time and allocate enough time for each person. If necessary I can organise an additional hair/makeup assistant and I will write you a schedule in advance for the morning.

How can I ensure my makeup stays perfect all day?

The way I apply the makeup and the products I use (such as lip and cheek stain, mineral products and cry- proof mascara!) will give it great staying power. I am also happy to stay and be on standby to do touch-ups before photographs so that you look your absolute best. I recommend that you have your own lipstick/gloss to keep with you and a pressed powder.
